Aligning body work

I was reading on here how to align the cab and bed. I swapped my step side for a fleetside and the new bedsides seem to stick out 1/2" on both sides. It just doesnt look right. I measured under the cab and bed and repositioned the body to be equal distances from the frame ( side to side ). The front bed panel is also new but the bed floor is from a long bed I cut down. There just doesnt seem to be enough play to suck in the sides an inch on both sides. Any ideas what to do?

I have a 69 c10 swb and I converted it from stepside to fleetside. Thank you

If its equal on both sides theres not much you can do...do you have any pics?...
shots from side showing from front to back bumper, and take some from tailgate looking down the bedrails towards the cab and down lower looking down the body line..
on each side would help

Okay I will take some pictures tomorrow. I did notice the new front bed panel fighting me during temporary install. Looks like I can cut back the verticle edges of it where it meets the inner bed sides. I can get at least an 1/8" per side. Thanks for the help

Is that a repop bed front?...did you measure it against the one you took out?
