PB Blaster Shout Out

1 Attachment(s)
Long story short the last can of PB Blaster I bought was full but had no propellant in it. I contacted their customer service last week and they asked for the batch number on the can and my address.

Got this in the mail today:

Good customer service. I have used a lot of that stuff but never had a can that didn't work. I now buy it by the gallon can and use a spray bottle.

Love that stuff. Ive had a couple of cans over the years that petered out before they were close to empty. Never considered getting a hold of them ... missed out on a T-shirt, rats!

That is the best easy to get rust solvent I can find. One place I used to work sold some that I thought worked better but I cannot find that brand anymore.

Same here. It's a nice aluminum pump sprayer made to last. I keep a variety and PB is the one I've used the longest. I was amazed the first time I used it. The stuff irritates a friend of mine's skin and he got me to using Creep. Then there's Kroil. One or the other, all great.

I use Deep Creep once in a while too. I like it but it is a little harder to find here. Sometimes NAPA has it.

Oh right, it's Deep Creep. That's my pressure stream squirter. I think the Kroil is a spray. I think just because of the name, I use Deep Creep when I need to really get it down inn there. I'm sure PB would do as well

I've never found Kroil local and to order has always been cost prohibitive due to shipping.

I took the can with no propellant and knocked two holes in the top. Put some in a small bottle for pinpoint use and filled up my old school oil can. It's not going to go to waste for sure.

I have used PB some. Not real fond of it tbh. I remember when I was a kid Liquid Wrench was popular. I guess it’s still being sold?

that's good customer service!

I use blaster, spray lithium, and couple others occasionally..

haven't seen it in bulk like wd40 but I'll be looking for it now..

I use these for chems that I can get in gallon cans, they work great!

Awesome that the company responded like that. Used it for years. Though my current go to is wd40 rust specialist.

A little bit goes a long way. I heard about Kroil on this website. I never saw it anywhere for sale. I found a vendor selling it at the Carlisle swap meet. I believe it was expensive from him too

Yep, still very much in business. My son uses it and their other products. They now make a variety of products. Liquid Wrench was always my go to till I found out about PB Blaster. My dad used Liquid Wrench. The stuff is great. I found out about WD40 and used that some before realizing it can't touch Liquid Wrench as a penetrating oil/rust loosener. It isn't a penetrating oil, just a general lubricant. There is another product out there that is twice as good as WD40. They got cocky coming up with the name, "80", and the motto, "Twice as good". I never buy WD40. I get gallons of CRC Power lube and pump spray that for general lubrication. Their stuff is professional grade. I think CRC makes the best overall line of these types of products. I see WD40 as the homeowner brand... broadly marketed does that.

Never had an issue with any of their products, but many will be surprised how these companies will “make things right”, if you happen to a defective can.
