Radio Thoughts

Want to keep the stock radio and get it working. Also would like to have a aux cord for my phone. Could I wire the aux cord into the stock speaker and play music like that or anyone have done something similar to this before?

If you are up to spending around 400 there are awesome conversions of factory FM units over to all-digital guts with an AUX input. I have on in my truck.

Avoid "Retrosound".

That was blkcovairs thread, I just followed his instructions. Inexpensive way to play phone or MP3 player. Sound is mono but is better than nothing....

You can't wire it directly. The phone output doesn't have the power to drive that speaker.

/\ What he said, that said you could always go with an amp that has built in bluetooth connectivity and use that, you would have to use your phone to select/seek songs and obviously wouldn't have AM/FM unless it's got a built in tuner (your phone) but it could work.
