1967 GMC dually flatbed project

Here you go guys bought this about 2 years ago, 1967 gmc c30 dually, Was a local township truck and has been parked for about 8 years prior to my purchase. It has 305 v6 gmc motor with np435 4 speed, has no a/c but has power steering assist and fm radio,i ran into some issues when i bought the truck, motor was locked up rings were rusted tight in cylinders and water in the cylinders. Luckily i was able to find another one of its kind for a cheap price. The progress on the truck is fairly slow but with new job plan on finding more time to work on it. Original paint code 503 and plan to put it back to original colors. Id like to clear over the patina on the grill and mirrors to give it some personality. As of right now the cab just got out of sodblasting and the body work is about to begin....my first attempt at it being my first restoration which i plan to do as much work myself as possible. Let me know wht u guys think and open to any thoughts and opinions on my build. Thanks to all!

Heres the most recent progress. Just picked up the cab from sodablasting last week. Turned out pretty good, surprised there wasnt more swiss cheese! Pretty solid for being an old beater township truck!

that does look pretty good, might still have to replace the rocker panels? That frame is huge! Looks like steel girders for the empire state building. Subscribed :metal: Are you going to keep it a dually? :gmc2:

Yeah im gonna replace the rockers and pretty much everything that has a hole in it, dont wanna have to do it twice haha, and im not sure how long the tail end of the frame was because it was hacked off when i got it, but i cut a little more off to match the new flat bed, definately needs some wider and or taller tires to fill up some space with the huge stack of leafs in the rear
