Not sure? Those are the pictures the guy posted in the ad.
If I had to guess I'd say some where around the town of Snoqualmie; I know they have a lot of historic train stuff there.

That could be Fall City or Elbe too...

I want a pre-WWII Chevy in original condition so bad. I'd love a pre-20s Baby Grand if I could find one... those old cars in original condition are so cool. They make about 30hp, go put put put down the road, stall out at the stoplight, and make everyone within a 500ft radius smile. Plus you could wear driving goggles, gloves, an English-style cap, and a long scarf. Too cool.

But even cooler... a brass era Oldsmobile... 1900-1910!

Yeah, I'm weird. ;)

And BTW your truck is AWESOME.

Ya know i agree withyou but if you saw this car up close I'd have a better chance of building my own complete car form scratch than I would have restoring that car. It's got some serious rust damage. I am gonna make it a hot rod and leave it at that. Early Chevys are a rare find but I couldn't pass up this rust bucket. And I'd rather not have a Model A like everyone else. That's just me.

And YES a Brass Era car would be awesome!!!

Thanks for the compliment on the truck. I have to admit after finishing everything up I have a little piece of me leaving with that truck:whine: Now that it is completely finished it looks amazing in person. When the sun hits it, it turns into a glowing fireball!! I wil miss it but on to bigger and better things..

It's a cool truck, like all the chrome, and the fog lights in the bumper don't look outta place like many other models would. As for the grille, the one you have is actually way cooler than a model-correct one like mine :D

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

Thanks. I love this truck. Bought it on e-bay with no engine/trans/transfer. It had a Western snow plow bracket on the front and no bumper. I bought the new brackets and that bumper from LMC. I'm going to post a review about it on the board some day. The rest of that chrome was on it already, and I have no idea where the piece above the grill on the front of the hood came from, but I'd love to find out. Someday I have to peel all that off and re-paint.

It is an aftermarket hood protector. Not sure who made it, but I have seen them every now and again.

HA HA! No rust holes but the dumb thing is bent on both sides:(

I posted the review on that bumper for anyone interested in installing one.

Yep, I've been steadily working on it for the past few months now compared to it sitting for almost a year after being painted. All I really have left is to lower the front 4", wheels/tires, finish widening rear fenders, spray-in liner, exhuast (I have the mufflers and cut-outs already), install billet vacuum canister, billet overflow tank, I'm in the process of doing a grille swap from a phantom billet grille, install the GM "sport" mirrors (yea I know I shaved the factory mirrors), finish wiring up all my Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges and install my reupholstered 91 Suburban buckets. Should be good to roll by then.

Is the tailgate you have molded in, or is it functional? I've kinda been looking for a new tailgate... I'm bored with the perfectly flat shaved one that I have. Did you just buy the the skin, or have it custom made?

Its functional. It was already on the truck when I bought it. But I have seen them in the Classic Industries catilog on page 400. This is a little better picture of the rear.

Hey bro, you can't link to a file that's on yer computer, you gotta upload it somewhere on the net first - CarDomain and SuperMotors specialize in vehicles seem to be pretty popular for that kinda stuff.
