Well, I'v had my truck a while now at stock hight and I think its time to lower her a little. I'm looking at doing a 2/4 drop by cutting the front springs and lowering springs in the back

Got the front done today. I cut one coil off and it took her down two inches. :smoke:

NICE truck!
If your truck doesn't have a front sway bar,... you need to add one.
They make so much difference in the way they handle.
Get a cheap junk yard 1-1/4" bar off of a 71-87 3/4-ton truck.
Add some new stock or Energy Suspension bushings,... and you will be set!

I am interested in how it turns out as far as stance.... This is the one thing I can't figure out which way I want to go right now. 2/4? 4/6? It's killing me!

It's addicting.
Once you start,... you always want it lower.

So I have heard.... That's why I think I will just go with the 4/6 drop. But dang, $900!! Oh well, might as well do it now.

You won't regret the 4/6 or even 4.5/6" drop... :D

Just do it now and forget it.

Here's mine with a 4.5/6" drop:

Awesome! I think seeing a picture of your truck inspired me to do the 4/6! I originally was going to go with the 2/4. But thanks to you, it's going to cost me another $500. HAHA, Beautiful truck by the way!!! Thanks for the info also.

Hello Boys, Both your trucks look fabulous but I think I will keep my stock. I love the height, being higher up than your average vehicle. My truck is a 1970 C20. I bought my truck at my auction (where I work). I've never owned a truck before and I'm loving it. I'm new to the forum and will try to post a photo.

I received my sway bar today. It's an 1 1/16" bar from a 1970 3/4 GMC.
