Any insight on how you did the fauxtina?

I claim no ownership for the paint. The previous owner had done most of it when I bought the truck. He owns a body shop he had said he does it in stages paints it all and lets it dry then uses different grains of sand paper to cut it off. Biggest trick i can see is it seems he may hand brush some areas with regular paint brush. If your truly interested i could contact him or get you his info.

Thank you. Like i said above... truck was mostly done when i got it. Had guy do the tailgate and hood after. I will be doing some work on chrome and grille. Freshen them up but not too shiny.

Ahhh..OK. I was a bit confused- Thanks! I don't think my truck isn't anywhere near as cool as a lot of the stuff on here- even just in this thread. Looking at these pics just shows me how far I have to go but inspire me as to how cool a ride it'll be when its done.

I stopped by the machine shop this morning- got all my questions answered and saw my buddy at his resto-shop (he had a $2MM dollar cobra in there- real deal, big block car, no bull- I couldn't believe I was standing in the same room as it). He's going to come by and take a look at mine and tell me what he thinks it'll take to do the rockers and cab corners....

Well looks damn good to me looked over your build thread your making some good progress. Aside from needing to clear mountains of clay looks solid. Hope they can match that white. That deal about the shelby is nuts if i didnt have a camera on me id ask and come back hell thats a once in a lifetime site.
