Tranny X-Member Help.
Installing a 350/350 into my 67C10 LWB pickup. It has an I6 292 3 speed in there now. The question is, should I remove (grind the rivets off) the old X-Member at the frame sides? I'm doing a "Rodstoration" and want it to look really clean when done.
Next question. I see holes further back on the frame for what appears to be holes for another X-Member. Will the TH350 X-member bolt directly into place without drilling the frame? Thanks! Grind them off it will be in the way.Yes it should bolt right in your other holes.

I had to drill some holes, but i dont believe i have the correct xmember, also i found that it was easier and in the long run cheaper to have my drive shaft shortend and balenced
