My dad has a high school buddy that picked up one about 5yrs ago he got out of a Chevelle. We ran the numbers, and it's a hi-politician, and he finally decided to let it go. Can wait to get it. Kind of excited.

Very cool!

Motor shop is in the process of documenting what parts are actually installed in the motor and are creating a plan from there. I'm assuming we are going to upgrade to a hydraulic roller cam and aluminum heads. That's the latest on that debacle. Fesler is dragging their feet on what to do with my windshield. I have measured every inch of that thing and the problem is with the windshield...not my windshield opening. The windshield takes a 1/8" dip above the drivers side. Current front suspension is being removed to make room for all the new goodies. Rydman Ranch front dropmember, Ridetech Strong Arms, Ridetech HQ coil overs, Wilwood 14" rotors with 6 piston calipers. Like I stated earlier...one step back but It should be a few leaps forward in the end.

Well, we loaded it up and shipped it over to Rydman Ranch yesterday in Sandy Oregon. Spencer is installing a new dropmember, Ridetech control arms, coil overs, drop spindles, rear trailing arms and crossmembers. Motor is coming along and should be started this week.

Good choices! Can't wait to see what that changes in the form or handling on the chassis

And sound deadening is underway:-) I have set myself a deadline for this project to be completed. May of 2018. My son is attending McPherson College in McPherson KS and they have a big car show the end of May. I figured that that is as good a place as any to give the first showing!

What rear suspension did you use for your bags?

I used the rear trailing arms from Rydman Ranch Customs. I think they are around $550.00. Check his Facebook page out.

That big block looks great, but it's hard to argue with an ls swap!

Yep. I'll just put the big block in one of my other C10s so no loss.

They are very nice so you shouldn't have any issues. Spencer is great to work with.

So...It's been forever but I'm back! Finished up project Doughboy 47 Ford COE Pizza truck witch will be at SEMA this year so look for it if your there! It will be hard to miss. I might actually be able to finish this Suburban project!!! After much deliberation, we kept the big block and upgraded all of the internals. Runs like a beast now. I'll come up with a game plan this week and will be back at pushing this thing through.
