Looks very nice with the matching colors on the horse trailer! That is what my 83 does for a living, pulling a horse trailer to shows every weekend:)

Yes it was just luck we found the trailer that matched....
Used it today to bring 1 of our yearlings to the vet... good times

She has lil rust.... I believe he had it a garage for most of its life... but the rust is there...
Minnesota isnt an ideal place to have a nice daily driver...

up next is new thicker front and rear sway bars...motor and transmission and rear-end after... :metal:

the first picture is the rear pass. side...havent bottomed out yet driving on the houston roads...the second is is pic that its true, you can have a 2 1/2" drop spindle with a 15" wheel without any control arm clearance issues, which i was quite worried about when i bought them...

that's awesome. thanks for the info. i was thinking i could get away with only using the small red stops and ditching the factory stepped ones. but seeing your pics makes it a done deal.:metal: as for the front, i run 255/60/15 so i'm sure i'll have clearence trouble if i go that far down. i'll probably look at just the spindles because i have a set of 22's that i'd like to put back on my truck. i think they are 4" taller than the 255/60's i have so i can't go too far down in the front. but i'm hoping it'll bring it down a little.

thanks for posting the pics.

3r!c84: i bought everything from SummitRacing.com and had it delivered to my door within 3 days. i even bought my rims from Summit. 250 bucks shipped to my door. the flip kit was $85 and the spindles were around $270 for 2 1/2 Summit brand (actually i found out that the Summit brand spindles were Ground Force spindles in disguise...) the only problem i had with those spindles was the brake hose going to the caliper, had to bend it slightly down to clear the upper ball joint nut.

I suggest everyone shop from Summit Racing...quick shipping, everything is available, and its at the best price. :metal:

1979, 20k miles.

Under pressure from my brothers I took it 4 wheeling this last weekend for the first time ever. It actually did pretty well in the sand, though I wouldn't follow the jeeps down the tight trails.

And of course, being the way I am, I went a little overboard cleaning out all the sand.

Mods include 5" lift and 35" all terrains. Yup, thats about it.

My newest toy. 78 K20, 350, SM465, NP205, 14-bolt, Dana 44, 5.13 gears and only 72,000 miles. Runs & drives great.

Traded a friend some old parts I had sitting around for it. I have all of $400 in cash into it right now including licensing and the gas to go get it 430 miles away.

My 1978 long bed C20 I just got three days ago, shot these the day I got it before I cleaned it all up. Looks much better now other than the 2000lbs of trash in the bed!

http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...03bea64b9b.jpg

But it hauls the weight around well because of this:
