SBC headers?

I've got a 48 going on an S10 frame with a 350. There is about 1.75" clearance between the oil pan and the cross member. The block hugger headers on the 350 exit straight down in the middle and are just too close to the A-arms and the starter.

I was looking at these https://s10v8.com/s10-v8-headers/s10...coated-headers and was wondering what others have used to make the clearances work.

I did spend hours yesterday and today using the search feature and I'm still not sure which ones will work, so I'm looking for some help.

Thanks.

I'm running a 327 in my s10 swap 1951 chevy. I used Patriot V8 S10 swap headers. Very similar to the ones you posted. Also they allow the steering shaft to pass thru the header for easier line up to the steering gear!

It looks like Summit has Patriot headers for that swap for any wallet from painted steel to real fancy https://www.summitracing.com/search/...fault&N=%3A%2B

I'd have to search though my ebay purchases but i bought a pair of stainless headers for the Cad 500 in my 71 GMC that were pretty reasonable. I haven't installed them yet but they look nice and feel real solid.

I used the Patriot Camaro Clipster headers in my 59 with a Camaro clip. They fit great!

Thanks all. I think I'm going to give the Patriots a try. I'll post up if they work.

Ok, I put the Patriot H8036-1 headers on and this is what I have.

The riders side fits nice all hooked up to plugs and wires, good spacing.

The drivers side fits and the steering shaft should fit through the tunnel, but the #1 plug cap is really close to the tube and the collector is really close to the tranny. I'm not sure what to do about the plug cap, but once installed, I think the collector will miss the tranny be enough to be safe.
