having trouble determining engine size
 
i have my vin (CE149B812346) and the engine id number (V0924UA). according to this site http://www.nastyz28.com/gm-chevy-cod...s-suffix-9.php i may have a 307. but as i am not entirely sure i am hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

My book says 69 307/200hp.

Not a powerhouse engine by any means, but certainly one of the longest lasting small block Chevys ever built. If economy and long term reliability are your main interests, the 307 delivers. If not, there's about a zillion million 350s out there you could bolt right in its place.
