Best way to add Power Windows/Locks to non-power C30?

I have started the build of my latest project, my 83 C30 Crew Cab dually Big Brown Turd and since I will be redoing the interior including the messed up door panels, I would like to add power windows, possibly to all four doors but at a minimum to the two front doors. Only doing the front doors does sound silly at first, but I have a lifted F350 daily driver and hardly ever roll down the rear door windows.

Anyways, what would be the best approach:
A) Scrounge up factory style Power Window regulators and motors such as these: Window Regulator Driver Side For Power Windows Chevrolet C10 1982-1987
B) Go all custom rodder style such as the ones that Brothers sells

C) And do the non-power window trucks have the unused wiring in the factory loom minus the door wiring?

Rob the entire wiring set-up from a suburban. They're usually plentiful in yards & power windows were a common option.

Scoti, thanks for the tip. Though here in California, our junkyards are harder and harder to find.

* Are Suburban rear doors the same as a Crew Cab's rear doors?

I need to pick up a shop manual that includes the wiring diagrams.

I am assuming that my truck's main wiring harness should be PW/PL ready and that GM didn't have different P/Ns for different trim levels.
*Is that correct?

* Does anyone have any input on whether to use factory style regulators or the custom rodder style?

Seems to me that the factory ones should "fit" correctly but then GM didn't always have the best ideas...

member hatzie on here has a great thread with links to downloadable PDF files for the wiring diagrams and manuals. Here is a link to his thread:

Yes, the suburban rear side doors are the same as the CC rear doors. The factory parts would be the best way to get power windows added.

unfortunately, member gmachinz has had his account suspended, but here is a thread he had for a CC power window harness that he builds. I think you can find in on Instagram or Facebook.

Yes, CC & Burbs shared rear doors.
I would use OE style regulators w/a relay set-up to speed things up & extend switch life.

Your interior doesn't look any worse for wear than mine did when I got it.
