TH350 shifting question

I assume this is the right forum to post this..how do you make the tranny shift latter in the rpms...i installed a adjustable vacuum can, havent played with it yet....if i disconnect the vacuum line it dosent really effect the shifting to much, so I cant see what adjusting the can will do...is their something else that controls the shift points?...is it easy to tweak?..thanks

The easiest way is to recurve the govenor. B&M puts out a kit for about $50,should be available through summit or Jegs. I went through that when i dropped the 4.10s in the longhorn. Good luck..........69

Seems odd that unhooking the vac to the modulater doesn't do too much. It should rev to about 45 MPH (depending on your rear gears) when that line comes off.
