Damans '72 K10
I've always loved these pickups.
41st birthday present to myself The day I picked it up http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...131248_172.jpg At home with the kids '82 El Camino and my fun pickup '48 KB2 International http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...18097927_n.jpg I ran my hand through the saw at work. So it took me awhile to start working on it http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...044720_123.jpg As close to original as I've seen http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...101008_438.jpg interior needs work http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...113039_504.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...113108_157.jpg |

I started off with the HEI swap
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...125300_039.jpg Didn't have a rear bumper. I have a Goodmark dealer really close to me. So I called him up http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...153317_388.jpg I had to replace the Edelbrock http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...155120_433.jpg |
Re: Damans '72 K10
My interior order came in from Brothers and I'm just waiting for some nice weather to start that project.
I was able to get my marker lights and side marker lights installed http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...135433_527.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...36117015_n.jpg Then the snow hit. A little at first http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...12354967_n.jpg Then it dumped on us. This is my traveler at work. We broke records here in Montana http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...13740583_n.jpg |
Re: Damans '72 K10
Finally had a weekend that I could actually get stuff done
New wheels and tires http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...92595302_n.jpg W/O rear bumper http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...64501658_n.jpg W rear bumper http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...47751655_n.jpg Passenger side http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...21943685_n.jpg Rear Drivers http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...15824907_n.jpg Front passenger http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...29852010_n.jpg |
Re: Damans '72 K10
I thought I'd pass this along.
I just put these new turn signal lights on from Brothers. I drove about 4 miles total today and I was just looking at the pickup before I went inside and noticed all the trim rings were off the marker lights. The front passenger had both on and I tried to pull them off. The first one fell into my hand and the second was held on with one corner of glue. I'm sure every parts place gets them from the same supplier but this is unacceptable http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...33384924_n.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...64932860_n.jpg |

my SPID http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...174303_591.jpg Some random under dash pics http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...74423966_n.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...20230980_n.jpg http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...94443853_n.jpg Almost done. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...40531042_n.jpg tinted the side and vent windows inside. Sandblasted all my inner door parts
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...41873877_n.jpg Got my dash pad cluster and stereo installed this weekend http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...2/tachdash.jpg Also my doors almost finished up, The reason I say that is I just ordered some parts for them and they showed up after I had them back together. I was kinda itchin' to get going http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t.../1972/door.jpg |
