Matching shocks? 1960 c10

What is everyone running for a decent pair of shock absorbers front and back?

I prefer to have the same make and model shocks front and back, all I found was Monroe for the front and Gabriel's for the back. I don't like to mix and match like that..

Just something for a comfortable ride...

Running a small block Chevy 350 with a turbo 400 transmission...

Thank you

I bought the Race Car Dynamics Bilstein shocks. They’re a little pricey at about $100 each, but nice ride and lifetime guarantee.

I'll take a look thanks. Yeah that's a bit pricey..

I don't want Rock bottom junk but they don't have to be made out of gold either but I definitely will take a look at those appreciate the feedback

I'm running Monroe blacks front and back. Blues are too soft, in my opinion.

Try to not to be a stickler for the same brand - what matters is the valving, and their all kinda the same at similar price points. You can always paint them the same color.

Monroe and Gabriel are pretty on par with each other.

KYB is my next level "up".

Bilstien is usually very good, but you pay for that.

You can always spend more....

I was just worried that different brands front and back would ride differently...

Amazon didn't have any matching pairs. I'll start looking around at those Monroe blacks

I think Monroe blacks are called OE Spectrum. Those are what I run front and rear. Mine is a '66 and I think they didn't have them for the rear so I used 67-72. Those actually seemed a tad shorter which was ok with me since I have a 3" drop springs anyhow
