rims

Im having a very hard time deciding what type of rim to go with to dress up my truck a bit.

I really like the way it looks with rallys and rings but i think a nice set of rims might set it off as well too.

Also contemplating a 4" lift with 35" rubber but it looks good at the height its at. So im looking for some input on whether to lift, and some suggestions on rims.

IMO... I think it looks good the way it sits, but as we all know, a project is never complete. :D

Good luck with the choice on upgrading the wheels. As for adding a lift, I think your truck sits just right.

I love the look the way you have it, looks just like my 67' K10. Awesome truck, I say leave it alone, unless you're really itching.

:agree: with others that it is a :gi: to leave it has it sits. That is a very sharp looking :chevy:

My favorite 4x4 rim maybe the 17x8. wrap it in some 33/12.5 BFG's or procomps. good clean smooth ride from 2 great companies

micky thompson classics would look good with the lift

Looks perfect as is. Steel wheels are better anyway, especially if you ever take it off road. More lift means more roll-over prone, too.

Another vote for leave it as is...not really into the bling but if you have to a set of centerline beadlocks would look good

I would have to ask what size tire you have on it now and if you have any rub issues??? also do you wheel?? it they are makeing some pretty kool looking street or all season tire in tall sizes...but 1 more inch never hurt either depends on the look you want??

thanks for all the input guys.

The rubber on it now is 31" pro comps,(no rubbing) and i use it for day to day yard work it wont be doing anymore off road, at least intentionally ;)

i like the look of the bfg a/t and was thinking about changing over to that as my tires look a little too luggy.

I say lift it and get some American racing baja's. I have a 6" and 35's on mine, Soon to be an 8" with 37's.

(Looks a little low cause I haven't put the new cab mounts on yet, old ones are squished to almost nothing)

I think if you could squeeze 33's under it and go to the tire your talking about it will make a kool looking street truck that has the abilty to do light of roading if you pull the handle

Re: rims

first off, beutiful truck.. I think a 4 inch lift with stock rally's rapped in 33's. How often are you going to try and get out wheeling?
