ambulance back to suburban

Can someone point me towards a build thread or any info on converting an ambulance back to a suburban? Thank you

Lotta work converting that top back (if that's what were are talking about). Is this a ride you already have? If so have you posted pics before?

There's a different take on it in this thread:

From everything I can tell, the entire roof is only spot welded across the very front and very rear. Everything down both sides bolts in, so if you have a complete donor you could swap them out. Another way would be to drill out a million spot welds in the drip rail and just peel the roof skin. Either way is going to take a lot of labor. Here are some pics of the rear half that I separated from one I parted out. I did it just to get a feel for the roof separation. I have not actually undertaken the front part yet so it may be way more involved.

Madipie03, I have a roof I'd trade you. What kind is yours?
