It's already kinda dark out, but here are some preliminary pics of the latest toy.

It has a recently installed GM crate 350 and freshly rebuilt TH400. It has new American Racing 15x8" aluminum modular wheels w/ BFG All Terrain T/A's, lots of new parts in the back and most of the truck is in really good shape. The front floor boards...not so much. But I didn't give a mint for it, so I am very please.

Really? Hhhmmmmm, that's kinda cool. Of course I am considering changing the colors when I repaint it. The rust is a bit more prominent than I first thought, but still primarily superficial. I just gotta replace both doors, the rest is cut pieces out and patch in new. I can handle it ;)

Nope, it's a 2wd. It has some lift coilover shocks on all 4 corners.

Lordy lordy, very nice score indeed. It sits like a 4x4, has BFG All Terrain tires like a 4x4, and it's hard to tell in the poor light but it looked like it had front hubs. I thought you got a 4x4 to convert.

Very, very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing this one come closer to the asphalt.:metal:

Coming from you that a huge compliment! I've almost decided to just keep it and start tearing it down for bags and a Hot Rod Flats paint job.

now, dont jump to conclusions... you can have some made, for a price of course. Jason Rushforth of Rushforth Wheels would cut some for upwards of 600-1000 per wheel :( depending on size of course. I know both me and jdurant inquired about it, heck, maybe with more requests he'll start making them for no extra cost! ...or maybe a group purchase should be set in motion...

man, all these sweet pics of blazers is sure making me want to get one....:metal:

I'll do a rendering sooner or later to show my plans for it. But been busy working on the mustang and many other things around the house. Next I'll start on my 87 swb that I've been collecting parts for. Then the Blazers.

About the wheels, I have been thinking lately that just a smoothie with the face painted and a centercap attached would achieve the look and be pretty rad. Maybe I'll photochop a version tonight and send it to you, Ehman and Hertz.

It is but would probably be cheaper to get the front end off of a c-10 pickup and use it. There is at least one thread on here that documents this conversion.
