What looks the best...
 

What looks the best as far as paint on the underside of the hood. Gloss Black,flat black, or the same color as the truck.

Really it is whatever you prefer. I use semi-gloss for the engine compartment and underside of hood.

From the factory its the same color as the truck. I've never seen any of the other options.

semi gloss black that is

i saw a picture some where that i guy had installed mirrors

it really added to a show truck

My truck is going to be a daily driver. So I will go with semi-gloss when that point comes. The reason for this is if any fluid leaks occur they won't show up as bad as a color matched engine bay would.
Eventualy I want to build a show truck when I am finished with this one which will have a colormatched engine compartment.
