90 OBS LS Swapped A/C Hook Up
 

So there seem to be a lot of information on this matter with regards to electric fans but not so much for the mechanical fan.

I just installed a 5.3/4l60e in my 90 Cheyenne and I'm currently in the process of converting the factory harnesses.

On the OBS harness, there is a green wire that runs from the original A/C compressor connector and is spliced into the green wire for the switch on the a/c accumulator.

Would simply just running that green wire to the green/white wire from the LS wire harness Red 17 be sufficient?
