A good friend of mine paints every part/item yellow that he has worked on on his truck lol drives me nuts. It helps him remember what he has done it lol

I like the yellow.
It does seem way under priced though.

Yes they were very road worthy, not real fast probably 30-40 mph tops. The post office had a lot of them that I remember. It's been awhile but I believe the one my father had was a Cushman air cooled twin cylinder engine 3 on the tree.

A buddy bought one at a yard sale a few years ago that he got running and fixed a few things then resold it on Craigslist.

I also remember the local P.D. "Meter Maids" they called them then drove these things.

Otherwise that appears to be a nice truck that might be worth the asking price.

:but: I had a yellow 67 and 68 at the same time, takes a certain kind to pull off yellow ;)

That rings a bell! I'd forgotten seeing a couple of those. I don't recall the post office version though.

Stolen trucks!
Not an ad I like having to post. I have no connection with the owner but I do feel their pain as I had a GTO stolen years ago.

I had a '66 LeMans post car with a transplanted RA III 400 and 400 THM. That thing was a real kick to drive. I was out of the Navy by then and decided to go home via Van Nuys Blvd one Friday night. I had most of a 327 in the trunk, as I was building it for my dad's pickup, which I think was a '53. I got in a stoplight to stoplight drag race with a guy in a '66 or '67 GTO with a 4-speed (given the variation in engine speed). That LeMans had terrible traction problems, especially with the 3.55 axle, posi and 11" tires notwithstanding. That ballast in the trunk helped a lot. I was stopped at the light when they rolled up, every time. :D Mine was medium metallic blue, like they all got painted back in the mid-'70s.

Like this one a lot but too many items not finished up to par for the asking price. Well, at least to me anyway. Might be right up someone's ally.

Good luck finding anything reasonable anymore. Everything is pretty pricey, and most of it still needs rust repair (not as much, but still needed).

Compared to what's available here in Florida and surrounding areas, which is complete junk by the way, the stuff out West is far and away good deals.

72 c10 converted to k10. $12900. Pretty nice looking truck. Not mine

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/c...111622928.html

I am looking to sell my 1972 chevy truck. This thing has been a great truck. I just dont drive it enough to justify keeping it (1000 miles in the last 5 years) it started its life as a half ton 2wd 3 spd manual 6 cyl. and went thru a complete frame off in the early 90s when it was converted to a 3/4 ton 4x4 v8 auto. In 2006 it got a new vortec full roller crate motor and trans. At the cost of close to 12k (Have all the papers and receipts) but since then it hasn't been driven much. We use it as a work truck around the house but that's it. Would like to see it go to a good home. It has some small rust spots that are starting to show up and has a small ring on the right fender but either than that it is a super clean super solid rig! Feel free to call or text with any questions. Thank you for your time
-michael

Hi, I have a 1972 GMC 2500 4x4 for sale. It has a sbc 350 which just had a edelbrock 600 carb put on it also converted to HEI distributor with new plugs and wires. The fuel pump is new and a new passenger side manifold was installed. It’s a factory 3/4 ton 3 on the tree 4x4.
Bought it to restore but plans have changed.
