Step side bed hieght

My truck is in the shop having ls motor installed. Can someone give me a measurement of bedside from wood floor to top of bed. Mine is a step side. I want to buy a toolbox but do not want it to be above bedside.

It's 16" to the top of the angle piece on the bedside.
I'm thinking of using one of these...I have one in my '70 Blazer
Not huge but enough room for basic stuff
Ordered it thru my local Line-X dealer to insure that I wouldn't get a smashed one delivered.

For a Blazer it may be 16", but for a Step Side the dimension from the top for the bedside angle to the top of the bedside is about 17 1/2".

To clarify:
Actually 16¼" to the TOP of the side angle piece and 17½" to the TOP of the wood.
Blazers don't have wood beds....
