??? P-30 springs on an ‘82 C30 crewcab Cummins
I believe P/30s are the bread van, food truck type vehicle. Someone up in Seattle used a pair P/30 front coil springs for a 90’s GM crew cab/Cummins swap to handle the extra weight. Has anyone here one that. Does anyone with an earlier TWD square body swap have thoughts on whether beefier springs are needed ? My truck is an ‘82 1-ton. Thanks for the input.

I've done a couple C30 12v swaps and The front end sat just a little lower than with the BBC and I left the suspension alone. They drove really nice so I felt they were alright.

Wrencher.....that’s good to know. I found a business that seems to know about swapping the stock coils for the much beefier P30s. I’ll see if they (General Spring) get back to me.
Seeing as you’ve done this, I might throw some questions your way. Were your C30/12Vs used to tow ? Thanks for the input. |
