Drum Brake Size Question
I have a 71 K10 Suburban 4x4, with front disc and rear drums. I am assuming that my rear drums are 2"x11". The parts store has option for a 2 3/4"x 11 5/32" drums. Are the larger size better braking performance? If so, can my drums be converted to the larger sized drums...and what all would that intel? Thank you in advance

The set-up has the offset backing plate, beefier drum, & wider brake shoes. It's also worth noting that 15" wheels are limited on backspacing when using this combo because the beefier drum can/will cause interference @ the barrel of the wheel. |
