eaton limited slip

well i have been having many questions but no one gives me a straight answer. ever since my bbc went my in truck, its hard to gt traction. i have a 12 bolt rear from a 71 c10 that cam with a th350 and a 307. i saw some summit racing limited slips posis but im not sure what one to use. they keep saying "for passenger cars" is that not the one i need. i type in the model of truck and nothing comes up. are all 12bolts the same? i also need 4.11 gears. can someone give me a link? i have roughly about 700 buckaroos to spend, thanks.

Big blocks came with 3.08s because of the higher torque. The lower the gearing the higher tendency to break rear wheels loose.
I like Randy`s and another great company is Reider Racing. They`ve beam around forever, very knowledgeable, and helpful. They are gear specialists.www.reiderracing.com

The only differences within the truck 12-bolts is in the carriers themselves, depending on gearing. The break-off is 3.73 lower and higher.
For the street,I like the factory (Eaton),but really like the Auburn the most.

if you contact summit, they have auburn truck posi. units for sale. try looking in 4x4 section instead of race/ car section last one I bought was from them and it worked great.
