Jess, nice work!

been thinking of doing that, but the wifey won't let me near her new kitchen with my greasy, rusty truck parts....

guess I'll have to buy a oven for the basement, does it put off fumes when you PC

is there a setting on the thermometer for powder coating. lol

you cant do this and cook in that oven I know you know that! she wouldn't have it anyway:)....some fumes not anything crazy I think you would be fine in your work space ...more powder dust left behind than anything else... my 70s era avocado over under didn't come with a setting for baking........on enamel LOL there is a rotisserie in the upper oven that works along with the oven light its a Gem:) directions say 400 degrees the powder started to flow at about 350 after just 5-10 minutes left them in for about 20 cooled about 20and ready to go ....like anything else its all in the prep:chevy:by the way i have a couple of fenders that are not, in my opinion, worth fixing they are yours if you want them can meet half way if you want to use for fitment purposes with the hood ...I been peeking in at your thread:)

I think it would look great I just clear coated my spindles so the are natural cast. But you could do a light or medium gray and it would contrast well, what color are you painting the body ? :chevy:

the truck is blue/white was painted CC-BC 10 years ago then into Docs barn the paint job is great no body work needed, thats why i purchased it. Ill never catch up to you at the light speed your traveling.but am happy to know its mostly assembly after the frame/drive train everything is wrapped up and stashed around the basement garage attic etc. I think ill try the gray give it a little pizzaz
