1 year and goin!
 

im starting this build thread for my dads new truck, we picked it up about a month ago for a present from my mom to making it 1 year of sobriety. hes been driving a car all this last year and was really missin a truck so now hes got a good one and im going to make it even better for him before the party! it is a 88 k1500 silverado 4x4 with a 350, im just going to be doing some personal touches for him, adding a visor bug guard hood scoops, new grill, roll bar with lights lift kit and re-wiring a new stereo in for him then some small odds and ends. ill post more pics before we get started but her she is. not half bad for 800 lol :fro:

started working on it and got some done, i took off the old grill got the new one, swapped out the valences then i changed out the license plate lights with some chrome ones off of my old s10, still need to get a pic of those

alright nothing worth taking pics for this round but replaced the chip on the tail light housings on both sides now theyer shinin bright, and took apart the cargo lamp got that all cleaned up and put a new bulb in

k had me and my dads friend out there for a little bit and we started drilling anchor holes for the visor, it sucks we will have to finish tomorrow, so ill post pictures of that when its done

thanks it was a mayjor accomplishment to for him after about 26 years of it

wow, been awhile sence ive been on here, been working so much forgot about it for awhile, well the truck is done minus the radio for now but i think it looks good, ill post pics as soon as i can and now i got my own truck that i got plans for lol
