Hi from Santee CA (San Diego area)

Hi folks, I've been reading posts on this site for a while and gotten some good info, but found the need to get some specific questions answered, so I'm hoping someone here can help. I bought a '59 short bed step side with a 55 front clip and '73 Blazer running gear, in pieces. I'm working on the obvious stuff like rust patching on the cab and getting to know the truck better. I'm not new to building cars, been doing it for most of 50 years, but this is the first one I've undertaken that is a true basket case. Stay tuned!
Toby

Welcome. Post a build thread over in the 55-59 area. We love pictures.

Welcome Toby. I like your screen name, sounds like maybe it fits your current build.

Thanks! Haha, yeah it sure does. I brought a trailer and rolled the chassis, wheels and axles onto it. Everything else was pieces. PO claimed it was complete minus steering, windows, and wiring. LOTS of other stuff missing, but I love a challenge. Luckily, it's fairly rust free compared to many other projects I've seen on this forum.

Welcome @Puzzletruck...I'm in La Mesa.

@vegadesign small world...my buddy who helped me restore my 66 Mustang is from Poway but is having a house built in Murfreesboro. Should've been done in February but has been delayed several months.
