Steering wheel colour for a 1968
Hey all, so I have a question about what colour my steering wheel should be in my 68 and I couldn't seem to find a definitive answer after searching.
Is it correct that the steering wheel should match the door Pannels, Dash pad and visors? Mine are all black but the rest of the truck is red. So my steering wheel should be black also, right? I've read somewhere that tilt steering columns had black wheels, but mine is not a tilt column Thanks for the help! |
Re: Steering wheel colour for a 1968
This may not help because my truck is a '72 K20, but I'll toss it out to get the ball rolling.
My original steering wheel is green, matching the green door panels, dash pad, and visors. That said, I would think your steering wheel should be black to match the other plastic/vinyl bits. |
Re: Steering wheel colour for a 1968
My 68 c10 with blue interior has a blue steering wheel, so i agree that black would be correct.

And my '68 C/10 had Fawn door panels, sunvisors, dash pad and wheel.

The steering wheel will match the interior trim color. There was no tilt wheel yet in '68.
