1 Attachment(s)
We just got a shipment of our custom made bedsides for short or long wheelbase Trucks without a marker light openings and without any stake pocket holes. We also have some of the factory style 1967 bedsides available as well.

These are pretty cool and will save some time if your going to shave those holes anyways.

Price is:

Shortbed- $425
Longbed- $575

Re: New products-67-72 bedsides w/o stake pocket holes or marker lights

I had someone ask about some of the new products that we had so I thougth I would post it on here in case someone wasn't aware of the part being available now.

So basically this year he have added:
-Longbed Bedsides for 1967 and 1968-1972 models
-Longbed Bedfloor 67-72

As some of you may know we also have a couple parts that were re-tooled or re-designed for a better fit, such as:

-Retooled door shells (67-71)
-Re-tooled front fenders (69-72)

Those bedsides are made by Woodall Industries, which is also the manufacturer of the shortwheelbase and long wheelbase bed floor assemblies. You can visit their website at www.woodallindustries. They are a wholesale company and could point you to a company that may be nearer to you to save on shipping.

As of right now we do not have any plans for "shaved" fenders. But the possibility is still there.

Wondering if you have pictures of the insides? Are they made the same as the others or do they lose the stake pocket rectangle areas that drop down from the pockets since they're saved...

please tell me about the bedsides how do they fit and what are the thickness of them, are they comparable to factory? thanks

sokyclassics 12-23-2009 02:58 PM

Re: New products-67-72 bedsides w/o stake pocket holes or marker lights

The thickness on these are 1.6 mil which is really close to the originals.

We feel that the fit and quality are very good. Just as stated above: "I have bought the standard bedsides recently as well as bed floor that was drop shipped from southern ky classics and was very impressed with the quality of the kit. "

Re: New products-67-72 bedsides w/o stake pocket holes or marker lights

There's only two manufacturers of bedsides at this time. The first tooling is very good and the ones that were made by Woodall Industries that are a little better. Exact differences are unknown. Trust me, all of the bedsides are good parts!

I have been told that 1.6 is also the original thickness but I am not 100% for sure.

The bedsides still have the stake pocket panels attached to the bedsides. It's not possible to remove the rear stake pocket box because that is how the bedside attaches to the bed floor for support.

Re: New products-67-72 bedsides w/o stake pocket holes or marker lights

Is it me or is the middle stake pocket missing? Can't tell from the pictures....I do understand the back one would have to be there for structure and a stop for the tailgate...
