HELP! Installing new Booster/MC/Prop to 70 C10

I have a 1970 C10 Short Step with manual drum all the way around. I'm in the process of installing drop spindles and discs to the front . I'm keeping the drums in the back. I purchased a MC and booster from Pepboys as they had a killer sale. I got a prop valve from a 71/72 c10. I will include links to the Booster and MC below. I have never done this kind of work before so I need a bit of info. What exactly do I need to do for a proper install? I don't have a bracket for the booster, what kind do I need? how do I run the lines from the MC to Prop and so on. did I even purchase the correct things? Any info helps. Pictures would be great. I tried searching the forums but couldn't really find anything. Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't the MC and prop valve for 1971 be intended for use with disc/drum rather than drum/drum? They switched in 1971 from front drum to front disc.

I do apologize, I might not have been very clear. I will have Disc front and Drum rear. I purchased a drop spindle/ disc setup from Mcgaughy's.

There should be some sort of bracket holding the current "proportioning-like valve" to the current booster/MC that you can reuse the the new "proportioning valve"

You will also need some missing bracketry to mount and connect the booster to your brake pedal.

This is all factory stuff, so you should be able to get parts from almost anywhere

There is no reason for that. I know how to Google, man. I'm new to this mechanic stuff and was hoping to get some info or pointers from fellow C10 guys that have been through this.

Re: HELP! Installing new Booster/MC/Prop to 70 C10

I'm in the middle of adding a power booster to my 67, so I'll let you know what I've learned and done. The part that can be difficult to find is the bracket from a 71 or 72 c10 that mounts the booster to the firewall. I've read that the 73 and up bracket will work with some modification, but I decided to buy a booster from early classic enterprises that includes a new bracket. I've already installed a 4/6 drop from ece, so I went with their booster because it was designed/intended to be used with the rest of their kit. Lastly a new hole, 1 inch lower, needs to be drilled in the brake pedal that holds the push rod to maintain the proper 4.5 to 1 ratio.
