My '71 Cheyenne, after 4 years.........

.........I bought it from NC in 2005, it is a pretty solid truck overall. Nothing fancy, just a base model LWB Cheyenne, and now I am kind of glad I am keeping it original so that I can get it finished! I was going to add gauges, power steering/brakes, but not now. It runs and drives great, it just takes a little more effort to parallel park! Just a 350 with a 3 on the tree, I always wanted one of those as my Grandfather had a '68 Impala with one. I have one of those 2, along with 15 or so other cars. Currently I have 4 projects going, this truck took a years break to get my '73 Roadrunner driveable. I have 2 finished cars, both Camaro's, a '71 RS and a '74 Z 28. Also working on a '72 El Camino right now (ready for paint, new motor going in soon) and a '75 Pontiac Astre, of all things. Hey, it was only $100 from CA, and rust free, what can I say? It was going to be a body shell donor for my Cosworth, until I got it running..........it runs excellent, and the 4 doesn't smoke. And it has A/C so it is going to be a Summer driver. I get time in the shop everyday, my ONLY benefit from working nights. So I get a lot done. Anyway, hope to assemble the truck this winter, I have already found a few hard to find parts on this site, I love it so far! The hard work is done, the cab is repaired, the bed is almost ready to prime. My buddy finally got his steam cleaner working, so he is brining that soon so I can clean/paint the frame, and assemble everything. Here are 2 cab pics..........the floors are minty, as are the braces. I could have patched the rockers/cab corners, but decided to replace them anyway.
