wish I was going but not gonna make this year. Went last year tho & had a great time, best place to have a car show I've ever seen!.

Sorry to hear you won't be able to make it to Des Moines.

Kid are you going to be able to make it to KS? I heard about the good time you guys had last year and would love to check out your truck(s).

Hope to get back to KC this year, still not sure at present time. Did have a really good time there last year. All us board members will have to hook up & park together this year

Des Moines is my favorite Goodguys event.
I may not have my blazer there.
I think we're taking a buddys '50 pickup.

I will be there with my 40 Ford and the 68 Corvette. I'm looking into camping as well. See you guys in a few weeks!

I want to go, is it here at the fairgrounds again? I went 2 years ago and it was the best car show I'd ever been to.

Green K20, yep it's at the Iowa State fair grounds again. If anyone needs discount tickets, I can purchase them for $10 ea from my Snap-on guy while he has them. They are $18 normally.

I got my registration in the mail today; number 1319 IIRC.

Couple of questions guys...

Are coolers allowed?
- Do they look in the coolers for cans, glass or plastics? (Dumb question, but I don't want to be turned away)

What's the parking situation like? I've only been to KS GG's as a spectator, so I'm new at this.

Canopy tents allowed/needed? I understand there's an assortment of bldgs and trees (not found at KS).

Just trying to get an idea of what I need to bring and what to expect when we arrive in IA.

Coolers are definitely allowed.
We normally stay away from glass bottles.
We keep beer in a cool cups.
There are tons of food vendors there.
Canopies are where ever you can find to put one up.
Parking is where ever you can find a place to park.
There are a series of roads that wind thru the fairground.
There are also a few big parking lots. Some are designated for certain selected winners.
Parking in most grass areas is allowed also.

Nate, thanks for that. I'm going to preregister right now. And yes on the canopies. We took two in last year and they sure came in handy when it rained.
