Quick solution for single sub in a box with an amp.

In a quick and dirty fashion:

I'm very tall and the seat will be all the way back. I moved the tank to under the bed. I don't need to upset neighbors or make dogs' ears bleed. I have an updated AM/FM original radio with 180W to power 2 3" dash speakers and 2 5" kick panel speakers. Is there a single sub (sealed), in a box, with an attached amp out there for a little low end upgrade? It's a 69 C/10 shortbed. Again nothing crazy on pounding bass, just a fuller sound. Price isn't a :metal::metal:huge concern but the truck is mild and clean. I don't need the stereo to be the biggest feature. Thank you all in advance.

I would try something like this. You could even put one on each side of the cab if you wanted.:chevy:

Someone else had a similar question and posted this: http://www.retrosound.com/product-p/hot-sub-8100.htm , I have no experience with this product but it sure looked cool.

Check a few posts down and some of the other members had some good ideas.

I'm going with this. Fits just about anywhere and a small mono sub runs it great.

Crutchfield has several different powered subs that should fit easily.
Link to powered subs, sorted by price. Several flat 8's that should work.

I just did the stereo in my short step with a Kicker 8" sub under the seat next to a Kicker 400.4 amp (front two channels drive mids/tweets and rear is bridged mono into the sub.) Both fit under the seat well in my truck, but you would need to do some tape measure engineering to make sure yours would have sufficient space. Mine sounds awesome with 5 1/4" mounted in the door panels and the single sub.
