It appears to be the correct one. My truck came with one for a 250 and it is too small. The truck doesn't breath right with the 250 filter in the cannister. Right now I have the proper 292 element in the cannister so there is about a 3/4 in. gap between the upper and lower parts of the cannister. I know this is a long shot but do you have the element that was in it? Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, no we do not have the original element from this 72 C/30 292 air cleaner setup. The replacement element is readily available though from several sources and we may purchase one if we end up having this setup restored. Given the lack of interest, we are considering having this media blasted and painted or possibly powder coated but am trying to justify the investment and then price increase to try and get it sold. Sorry, no thanks I cannot see eating the shipping cost on this deal and accepting that amount given this setups rarity (rarity = having had only three or four these setups in twenty plus years of parting these trucks). Also, we just got nearly that offered amount ($145.) for a standard 4 bbl air cleaner and riser setup that was shipped to Mapleton, UT. and this was just for the run of the mill 4 bbl air cleaner setup that seems to have been found on most 72's. Hey Jeff, we just boxed up and weighed the air cleaner setup at 24"x16"x6" @ 10 lbs, and the actual shipping cost to MA. Zip 01534 (residential) came in at $43.40 sent via Fedex home delivery with a total transit time of 5 business days once shipped out, the USPS retail ground quote came in at $49.95 with a 7 day transit time. If you decide it's a go, let us know your preferred method of payment and we'll get that info returned back to you. Thanks, Mel :chevy:

Okay, I'll give NewBay a chance to post/respond back here in thread. In the mean time, if you let us know your shipping Zip and if residential or commercial, we can let you know actual shipping cost. Thanks, Mel :chevy:

No the confusion is by our doing, the air cleaner setup is currently listed/offered at that $200. shipped price but when first listed, if you see NewBay's above quoted replies the setup was originally listed at $150. plus shipping cost. After awhile passed with no confirmed takers but a couple request for ship quotes on these three listed parts, we decided to edit and price these parts with shipping included in CONUS. So when I asked for your zip and if residential or commercial was to try and maybe save you a little off of the $200. amount by letting you know actual/real shipping cost. Mel :chevy:

Atog, for you actual shipping on the air cleaner setup at 24"x16"x6" @ 10 lbs to OH. Zip 44276 (residential) came in at $44.80 sent via Fedex home delivery with a total transit time of 5 business days once shipped out, the USPS retail ground quote came in at $49.95 with a 7 day transit time. So in the end at $194.80 (parts/$150. + ship/$44.80) there's not much savings/difference after all. Mel :chevy:
