Transmission Mount Question

After instaling the new big block the tranny mount is about 3/4" back from the mounting hole in the tranny itself. Is there a different tranny mount for the BB with a TH350?

i didnt think the th350 came on the big block models..thought the th400 was the tranny of choice

you canruna th350 but they are weak. I have a nice turbo 400 for sale for 150 bucks. the crossmember holes for a th400 should work fine. Are you sure you dont have the motor mounts installed on the frame backwards?

The motor mounts will only go 1 way. They are the 67-71 style.

I just went to the garage to measure it. The bolt holes in the tranny are 1 1/8" in front of the bolt holes in the mount.

I think the bb stands sit in a different spot than the sb or inline stands, & like big jim posted the 350 T wasnt a factory deal in the bb trucks. You may have to redrill the holes in the frame for the trans crossmember to get things to fit. Good luck.....crazyAL:bowtie:
