That tan truck is weird. I don't think the factory was using those wide whitewalls that extended to the wheel in '62. Plus, it has the Custom Cab trim but painted hubcaps and bumper. I wonder what the story was there.

Could have been ordered with what ever your wallet could handle.

Yep, the Custom options weren't a complete package- if you ordered chrome bumpers you automaticly got chrome hub caps. That was separate from the side trim, grill, seat, etc. Atleast that's the way it was on the SPID in the glovebox of my '66, not sure if the earlier trucks were the same.

Here are a couple of my 64 from the original owner. I am the 3rd owner and the second owner owned the truck for less than a year. It is from and still remains a west coast truck and is home in Junction City, OR.

BTW, the canopy on the back is still on the truck today. I would love to find it a new home if anyone is interested.
