You must see this.

This is what I consider a rust free truck. It is for sale and it's sitting at my bodyman's shop. I don't think u want to know what the ideas are, going through a couple of guys heads. :) The miles are actual.

Re: You must see this.
Actually Calvin is thinking about buying it for the front clip and the bed. I want the cab. The guy told me 6,000 but I think it can be had for less. Calvin is working on one now for a guy and he can make his money back pretty easy.

Re: You must see this.
Yes its a shame to break a truck up like this, but when you are creating new trucks from it it isn't so bad.
|
Re: You must see this.
Wow. Nice truck. I would hate to see that get parted out.
|
Re: You must see this.

Re: You must see this.
Remember Marlin Perkins "Wild Kingdom" on PBS? Looking at that sweet blue truck is not much different then the Lions in that show looking at a pack of zebra...

Re: You must see this.
That is really nice, I would love to have one like it as a DD.
|
Re: You must see this.
Man! I can't believe the condition of the door sills and floor. I saw a '67 4 wheel drive like that in a Wyoming junkyard, the bed was a little beat up, but no rust anywhere. That's a heck-of-a nice truck! Somebody buy it whole and don't let
'em bust 'er up... FAST! |
Re: You must see this.
That's too good of a truck to take apart.
|
Re: You must see this.
There`s cabs, clips and beds out there to build trucks out of.I`d draw a line on tearing down such a survivor.Just because it`s not in the form you would want:shortbed/big block CST/4wd/whatever,doesn`t make it ok to ruin.Add that to 8 cents and you`ll have a dime.

Re: You must see this.
The 67-72 body style has got to be the cleanest body line of any truck out there. These things aren't exactly sparce but original trucks in any kind of recognizable are getting there. If you want to build some new trucks use new sheet metal. Keep the nice ones on the road as they are. A little TLC to the paint and it is a jewel. I love customs and custom fabrication but I don't want to destroy something beautiful to get it.

Re: You must see this.
Part it out??????
Are you nuckin futs??? I hope someone shows up before you and buys it to keep it whole. That is a piece of history. I agree with special-K There are trucks to be parted out there. Even re-pop parts. Don't tear up this truck. You'll be as bad as the HS student who wraps a cherry Chevelle or Camaro around a tree being wild and careless. |
