The Blaupunkt's are a decent speaker. They are the manufacturer the VW/Porche/Audio stereo equipment (atleast in the 90's). I believe BMW uses them as well.

As for the Black Catz. I have never heard of them.

thanks 72 cheyenne pdx yes i have seen Blaupunkt's for many many years. i want to slowly change out the stock speakers in my s-10 .

the black cats look very nice i guess we will see :confused:

i will post some pictures (you knew that was coming) when they arrive. there are so many choices. as you can tell by the FAQ quick list at the top of the forum. i just wanted to get some that were made of a different material than woven paper. since they are subject to weather change mounted in the doors. i am hoping that the new hat shields will seal out most of this weather from here on out.
and from the item description that i may just get better sound out of them too.

i am one to buy fast.. i looked to three days before buying this time.. that could be a record :)

Harman equipment (specifically Infinity) can be found in most vehicles now days :)
