Guessing having a top would be desirable?

And I would have given it the full Porterbuilt treatment!!!

so guys whats all the money on this blazer?as of right now there has been no bids placed on it at 16k just wondering what you guys think as far as value the way it sits right now?My thoughts are 12k would be a good buy.

Sure it is a nice Blazer, but it has absolutely no options on it. Not even a center console. That is why there is no excitement about it. It is just kind of uninteresting. For me I wouldn't go over 10k If I had any interest, but what do I know?

yeah your right!! also I wonder if it is 6 lug bolt pattern?I think the advantage here is the time and money saved on sheet metal if in fact it is rust free who knows? If the motor and trans is good do static drop with some wheels and roll would be the game plan.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

I paid right at $10k for mine, which was in a similar condition, only original paint but a little rust on the driver's rocker. Mine was bought with no top, and a junk interior which originally came with only a driver's seat, so I have more than doubled the cost on it since. Contrary to popular belief, most of the early Blazers that I have seen were fairly stripped down, but in my mind that doesn't make them any less desirable.

Do "I" think it is worth what he is asking? Yes. If I would have bought this one instead, my interior cost would have been much much less. Of course the suspension and drivetrain costs would have still been the same.

BTW, it will have 6-lug drums on all 4 corners.

May not sell. I have seen it on ebay several times for almost a year now.

That one has been for sale for quite a while, the reseller is seems to be a highend "rattle-can" rebuild muscle car dealer. Will certainly be over priced based on shiney paint, fancy wheels and resale detailing.

The black one sold at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale last year for $31,000. I thought it was a pretty good price. Would have jumped on it if I had the cash. Would have saved me a ton of work. A couple of weeks later, saw it was for sale on a website for $48K.

Lol, I just sold one of my trucks. Once my new company lets me know a move date, we'll be making a slight detour and if you still have it then I'll be driving away with it. Missed my chance when it was in Diego, I don't think I'll be passing it up again.

Clarkw owns this one? Looks really good and a good value. Wouldn't be able to build it for that.

Wish I could find a 67 - 72 Burb built similar to this white one or the black one we've been discussing.

Hart_Rod has a Burb and he has been thinning the herd lately... you might catch him in the right mood with the right offer. ;)

Thanks Buck! We had fun building that one. Don't believe my pockets would be deep enough for Hart_Rods Superburb.
