Battery Box ground

I'm really getting through the re-wire I'm working on ('69 K10, AAW kit) and getting things put back together but they didn't provide any materials or info on grounding.

I've done some research on here and think I can make a go of it but I do have a two questions:

There is a grounding location on the bottom of the battery box, can I run a wire from there to the spot of the core support where the right headlight ground wire goes to? or battery box to battery neg terminal

and

this kinda goes with the above, it is proper to use the same grounding location for more than one wire or is that a no-no?

Thanks for any help

Re: Battery Box ground

I most likely over ground stuff but here's what I do on my LS swaps. LS computers love good grounds.
Battery to frame. Frame to engine in two places. Large diameter cable like 00 size. Frame to cab or body in two places. Smaller cable like 6 gauge? Then frame to radiator support. Smaller gauge like 10-12 gauge. Depending on your setup in the cab I weld a bolt to the fire wall that's long enough to hold all the grounds underneath the dash.
At the rear same thing. Lights grounded to the frame.

thanks for the help, exactly what I needed.

so, should a competent auto parts store be able to make custom ground cables?

A friend of mine gave me 2 rolls of this to use when I built the 68 pick up. It worked great.

Re: Battery Box ground

You can get welding cable and ends at NAPA and make your own. Welding cable has really fine wires. Fine wires conduct better. NAPA has many different gauges of wire to choose from.
Make sure to clean off the metal really well where you attach the grounds.
