That truck is cleaner than Kleenex. Good find. There's a squarebody 4X4 by me that's pretty close to yours. It just sits. I've been driving by and jonesing over it and I want to stop and ask the guy if he wants to sell it.. But I don't. That may turn out to be a expensive stop and I need another vehicle like I need another hole in my head.
Congratulations.

I went back and looked at that steak again.. man, do you know how long it's been since we've dined in at a restaurant? March of last year.

Aiite! What are the specs on the new truck? Somebody looks to have done a real nice job on it.

The steak got me too. It's been a long time since I had one that I didn't cook! I like the truck too!

85 painted 17 years ago rebuilt 350 with 700r4 also rebuilt . New process transfer case also rebuilt . 108k miles truck runs and drives great have a ton of receipts and every piece of original literature for the truck including bill of sale and I'd cards. And a complete journal from the original owner of everything done , even recorded gas stops and how much for each tank . He even wrote down the weather did you know on December 27th 1986 it snowed in PA

In my experience, that's a waste of time. They never do sell them.
Years ago there was an old COE flat bed truck sticking out of the doors of a barn that I passed regularly. I saw it sit there unchanged for years, finally stopping to ask about it. This may have happened with some frequency because the guy was rather snippy about asking. It continued to sit for many years after that.....until it was destroyed by the guys who tore the barn down when the property was sold, after the old guy passed.
That wasn't the only one I missed out on, but the most tragic. They all seem to think they are going to do something with it someday....
Or in more recent times, they are afraid that you are going to flip it and make money off of "their" investment.

I've gotten a few from just asking and leaving my number. One that comes to mind was a 53 studebaker that was campaigned in the 60s and early 70s had a worked supercharged R3 andy granatelli prepared engine in it sans the blower. Owner had a speed shop and car sat behind his place . He called me 5 years after I moved to come get the car or it was going to scrap. He sold the property and tried to sell the car but it was rotted and the engine was seized. I got it for free, engine is the one going into my lark when I have the time

I'm a medium rare kinda guy, too.
I am passing an AMX sitting out with no deck lid or doors going to a job right now. I've known about it a long time. Been sitting like that for years. No, I haven't asked. It's visible from the state road and plenty see it there. I'm sure he's been asked a lot
