1985 k10 cooling question
My 1985 k10 has a fully rebuilt 1975 chevy 350 bored to a 355 with about 8,000 miles on it. Recently the engine temp when running has been around 200 degrees. However before it was around 185. I replaced the thermostat to a 180 and now it runs at 180 degrees all the time is this fine??? Should the engine be running a little warmer?? Let me know

Re: 1985 k10 cooling question
We'll if you swapped your t-stat for a 180 degree one it's not going to get any hotter since that's when it's opening up and cooling down. U should be fine.

Re: 1985 k10 cooling question
The 350 in my k2500 runs at 180, if you're working something hard you want it to stay cool.
