Awesome! Looks like possibly that was a csm restoration looking at the woodgrain. Any pics of the engine bay before it was torn down? Were the a/c bits polished and the bb brackets glossy?

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super 400 truck Zero Rust
Those floorboards and cab supports look as good as the 72 Custom Camper I found last year. It was a 3/4 ton with the factory 402/auto and had the most original rust free body I had seen that had not been re done. Problem was it didn't have a title and I passed on buying it. I should have bought it anyway since they only wanted $1,400 for it.

I am just curious...was the truck an unfinished project when you bought it or what was the case?

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super 400 truck Zero Rust
Complete truck that I started to restore..Had a super nice body but had never been done underneath...Thats where it all started...pulled the motor and trans , rad support as well and that's where it sat untill now..I've built about 6 or so other cars and trucks in that time..Always wanted to pro-street it, but couldn't bring myself to cut it up in any way..I've dropped the bottom of the bed out and will build a custom stand to mount it to..leaving all the original panels uncut .....if I ever decide to take it back to stock...Love em both ways..I just couldn't resist the price on the chassis with all its componenets..So here we are...I won't be around my PC for a a bit so I'm not ignoring anyone with questions..I'll reply when I get back...Cheers Joe
