Every state is different. Call your DMV, or Highway Patrol, and ask them.

Start here: http://www.flhsmv.gov/dmv/faqtitle.html
If the current owner had a title in his/her name, they can get a new title easily. If the seller isn't the legal owner (title holder), you may be able to request title holder info using the 90510 form on the forms page. Careful, you may end up buying the truck, then have to buy the title from the legal owner. Forms: http://www.flhsmv.gov/html/forms.html |

Do not bother with the "broadway title" BS, thats just what it is - it' s actually broadway bill of sale for $300, you could get your brother in law to do it for $30.

A 1942. Interesting... according to my information from working at the Chevrolet Commercial Body Div. of GM in Indianapolis (body stamping plant)...quote: "Civilian Truck Production Stopped in March of 1942".
Hence I would think that would be a rare and really neat truck to bag! |
