Stolen truck

Me and my son were in Charlotte on Hot Rod Power Tour when my truck and four other vehicles were stolen from the parking lot of the WT Harris Blvd Drury Inn and the Marriot Courtyard right next to it.

We were going for our third "Long Haul" having completed the trip in 2013 and 2015.

I have pictures here: http://photobucket.com/85gmcguy

and the tag number is NC VZJ-2612.

Thanks
Gary

It sounds like a professional job. We'll see how good the security cameras are at these places. Sorry to hear about this.

Sorry to hear about this. I hope they find it quick. I hate thieves, want to profit off someone else's blood sweat and tears!

Was thinking about doing Power Tour next year and this is the kind of thing I've always wondered about, what with all that kind of hardware in one spot.

Really sorry to hear about this....hope everyone gets their cars back.

Our 1990 GMC Sierra was stolen back in April. We've had a couple of apparent sightings, but it has not been recovered yet. Cops say they have sent photos out everywhere and are looking. That's about all they can do.

Hope you guys find your vehicles. I hate a POS thief!!!

I'll keep my eyes out. I drive from Kannapolis to Belmont quite a bit. Saw that it is posted on Carolina Squarebody Association on FB too. Best coverage you can get.

Sadly this has become common at large car events. A friend of mine had his 70 Chevelle stolen at Good Guys Charlotte in '10, vanished, not a trace since.

There's no reason local hotels can't provide real security, as in off duty police officers. The hotels could add a couple bucks per night to cover the cost, I'd gladly pay it. Most hotels have a couple hundred rooms, 2 bucks a night each would cover it. I'd also gladly deal with proving ownership each time I left the property.
