Fuel pressure gauge extenstion
Hey guys anybody know of a gauge extenstion for my feul gauge on the motor. Now that I have the cover over the motor I can't see the gauge was wondering what you all have done for this?:chevy:

Take the cover off if you need to see the fuel pressure?
It's not something that is needed unless you have to troubleshoot. Anyway, it should just be a -4 AN fitting on the rail, pull your gauge, get a hose that's the correct length, and move it where you want it. |

Why do you care?
These motors have a very narrow window for acceptable fuel pressure - it'll let you know if there is a problem well before you have a bigger problem. I don't monitor it on mine beyond keeping a loose eye on the wideband. |

The only reason I like it it lets me know when the check valve is going out on the pump. If the gauge is low then the check valve is not working at the pump which in turn makes it take longer to crank. And just because I have it on the motor I may as well beable to see it!:lol:
