Need ehlp - ID this plug

Had my steering column out and when I put it all back together I cannot remember where this plug goes. I cannot find that color combination on my wiring diagram.

Any ideas?

Thanks but nope - I have that one already. Wires are pink with black trace and purple on this one.

did you use to have cruise control ? some early units had a vac cut out switch to dump the diaphragm and also a switch on it .

I know pink w/black is a switched 12V lead, but like you I don't see that color combo used in my electrics diagrams either.

Only thing rining in my mind now might be for safety belts connection. What year is the truck and is it 2wd/4wd?

That might be it...didn't think about the old vac switch also having electrical connector. I did tear out all of the factory cruise wiring when I had the column out. Thank you!!

if you did this also make sure to plug the hose off . i chased down a vac leak sound under the dash of my first truck and forgot this and replaced a brake booster for nothing . . . . it was the dam hose sucking air when i hit the brakes .

Oh yeah. All of the underhood stuff has been gone for a while and the vac hose disconnected.

On a side note, if anyone needs a complete factory CC setup (minus the lever on the column) send me a PM.
