Sorry no, not yet. I still can't get all these local people to leave me alone so that I can work on new products and installation instructions. Which differential and what size of original drum brakes do you have?

Let me see what I can do about determining the brake offset. I haven't been able to find a definitive answer online. I should have it written down at the shop. If nothing else I will have to tear apart the '90 10 bolt I have at the shop.

Re: D52 Caliper Rear Disc Brake Brackets

I mounted my brackets ( awesome by the way ) and I bolted on my D52 Wilwood calipers and I have a question about the Wilwood brake shoes.... the inner shoe goes on with the bolt going through the hole in the shoe and is snug....... the outer shoe just has the tabs that rest on the calipers yet they are loose fitting? Should they be?

I don't have nay brake lines or anything hooked up yet and not sure if that makes a difference or not?? Do they tighten up once there's brake lines and pressure attached???

It has been many years since I have had hands on with the Wilwood dual piston calipers but I do not recall the outer shoe being loose. On a stock D52 caliper they are not loose. Have you contacted Wilwood about this issue?

my outside pads aren’t super tight, but they work fine and don’t go anywhere while dragging slightly on the rotors

Re: D52 Caliper Rear Disc Brake Brackets

I'm currently working on converting my rear to disc on my '70. Can these brackets also be used when keeping the 6 lug pattern?

Planned on using 1990 K1500 w/ f44 (heavy duty) chassis 6 lug rotors (11.6 dia. and 1.29 thick) and using 71-72 front calipers in the rear. Any foreseen issues I may have? Besides some possible machining...

Re: D52 Caliper Rear Disc Brake Brackets

You can not just randomly change the rotor and still have the rotor and caliper line up. I have yet to find any two factory replacement rotors for different applications be exactly the same and interchangeable. I have no idea what the height is of the rotor you are wanting to use. Then there is the issue that most later model rotors do not have sufficient contact area to accommodate the D52 pads without having them hang over the outside edge.

You know that I do make 2 rear disc brackets for the 6 lug correct?
